Value Stream Manufacturing Leader

Our client is a successful Contract Manufacturing concern that supplies the Class II & III Medical Device space with unique products and services, taking advantage of their exceptional background in materials science.  We are assisting them with a very unique skill-set need insofar as the qualified candidate will have broad-based engineering expertise as well as an in-depth, hands-on knowledge of Lean/Six Sigma.  But the most important feature of your experience will be the ability to demonstrate your knowledge of how those tools interact with the P&L because you are essentially responsible for running a small business.

This site manufactures a raw material that is supplied to a variety of different end-use demands but also supplies it “over the wall” to internal manufacturing that uses it to construct components and assemblies.  Because you’ll be responsible for both sides of that wall, your leadership skills, and your commitment to quality while fulfilling the customer’s need, will be critical.  Our client has a worldwide presence so the career growth opportunity is excellent but at this level of the company you will have the opportunity to interact across every department of the organization.  No, this role isn’t for everyone and may intimidate many, but for the right candidate the reward will outweigh the challenge.

  • Establishes guidelines for and/or directs the handling of specialized materials through multiple steps of a complex manufacturing process
