Supply Chain Coordinator

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Interacts with Suppliers to ensure their capacities meet the company’s demand (i.e. raw material or components) and understands the supplier’s cost basis
  • Involvement with setup, modification, maintenance of the Supplier Management System
  • Forecast demand and sales order processing
  • BOM’s and Item Master setup
  • MRP experience/knowledge including release of PO’s and Work Orders, shipping & receiving, and product delivery timelines for internal and external supply
  • Resolves issues of delivery date, quality, specs, quantity and customer service
  • Ensures accuracy of both virtual and physical receipt of goods
  • Cycle counting and/or physical inventory counting to ensure accuracy of the MRP
  • Involved with development of customer pricing
  • Interfaces cross-functionally with Finance, Quality, Ops, and Product Development

REQUIREMENTS:

  1. Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Science or other appropriate discipline
  2. MRP experience
  3. At least 1 year of experience in customer or supplier interactions
  4. High attention to detail, organized, and a penchant for accuracy
  5. cGMP, ISO 113485 or other Regulated industry experience a plus
  6. High tolerance for change and the flexibility to react to it effectively
  7. Strong interpersonal skills including, tact, diplomacy, and ability to negotiate
